McDermott M23A Spalted Gecko #2/100
Made in 2005 $599.00
Energetic. This cue is constructed of exotic Spaulted maple, one of the most unusual woods in the world, on the forearm and sleeve.
Spaulted maple is also used in many of the finest custom guitars in the world.
The cue features crawling West African Bubinga “Geckos” on the forearm and sleeve.
The Spaulted Gecko features five coats of “High-Luster” urethane to dramatically increase the cue’s scratch resistance.
This cue features the exclusive McDermott Impact Control Ring, made from a Polymer Matrix Composite (developed by NASA), which maximizes feel.
The design is complemented by a Top-grain, Lizard-embossed, walnut leather wrap and a McDermott soft Durometer Polymer bumper – the most wear and shock resistant bumper in the industry.
Only from the G Cue Billiard Store.
Very few collectors even knew about this cue and now, guess what? #2/100 just surfaced. First come – first served. Get it while it’s hot, because it is only a matter of time until someone recognized what a gem this really is. That’s right, #2, brand new and ready to have a new home in your personal collection -

McDermott M8P3 (#5/100)
McDermott M8P3-Prestige III Inaugural Cue #5/100 Highly figured, very rare, Premium Natural Birdseye Maple forearm and sleeve with four West African ebony points and diamonds in the forearm. Mexican bacote crossover wrap around the ebony, genuine sterling silver diamonds with real blue sapphires, mother of pearl diamonds below the joint with a unique ebony/bacote inlay from the joint rings below the stainless steel joint, which is rare in it’s own right. Whew! That was just the forearm.
The Butt is a work of art too – intricate to describe without writing a three page dissertation. My suggestion is to use the zoom feature of our website and check this baby out up close and personal. If you are wondering why this cue isn’t more expensive, keep in mind that the five silver looking emblems and the Inaugural band around the cue are ALL white gold. Yes….white gold. You simply won’t find too many cues like this one, and the only one I know of that has the number etched into the pin.
Oh yeah, did I mention this cue is #5/100, brand new and in mint condition. The thing is, if you check the past history of this cue, it continues to go up in price each year by 20% or so because of the price of gold. I am pretty sure the price of gold won’t be going down any time soon, so that makes this cue a solid investment and a true collectible -
